Cart & Checkout

Process customer purchases through the POS system.

Adding Items to Cart

  1. Open the POS from the sidebar
  2. Search for products by name, SKU, or barcode
  3. Click a product to add it to the cart
  4. Adjust quantities as needed

The cart displays:

  • Product name and image
  • Quantity and unit price
  • Line total
  • Running subtotal

Cart Operations

Quantity Adjustment

Use the + and - buttons to adjust item quantities. You can also type the quantity directly.

Remove Items

Click the delete icon to remove an item from the cart.

Apply Discounts

Apply percentage or fixed discounts to individual items or the entire cart.

Checkout Process

  1. Review the cart contents
  2. Select Payment Method:
    • Cash
    • Mobile Money (Orange Money, MTN Mobile Money, Moov Money)
    • Bank Transfer
    • Mixed Payment
  3. Enter the amount received (for cash payments)
  4. Click Complete Sale

Receipt

After completing the sale, you can:

  • Print a receipt
  • Email a receipt to the customer
  • Send an SMS receipt

Hold / Recall Cart

You can put a cart on hold and recall it later. This is useful when serving multiple customers simultaneously.

Customer Assignment

Optionally assign the sale to a customer profile for loyalty tracking and sales history.
