POS Interface

Using the POS

The Point of Sale (POS) system allows you to process sales quickly and efficiently.

Accessing the POS

Navigate to Ventes (POS) from the sidebar or use the quick action button.

Interface Overview

The POS interface consists of:

  • Product Grid — Browse and search products
  • Cart Panel — View selected items (slides in from the right)
  • Search Bar — Quickly find products by name or SKU
  • Category Filter — Filter products by category

Processing a Sale

1. Add Items to Cart

  • Click on a product to add it to the cart
  • Adjust quantity using the + / - buttons
  • The cart updates in real-time

2. Review Cart

Open the cart panel to review:

  • Item quantities and prices
  • Subtotal
  • Discounts (if applicable)
  • Total amount

3. Complete the Sale

  1. Click Checkout
  2. Select payment method:
    • Cash
    • Mobile Money (Orange Money, MTN, etc.)
  3. Enter the amount received
  4. Click Confirm

The sale is recorded and inventory is updated automatically.

Offline Mode

The POS works offline. Sales are queued locally and synced when the connection is restored.
