Delivery Requests

Manage the delivery process from order to customer doorstep.

Creating a Delivery Request

When an order is ready for delivery:

  1. Open the order
  2. Click Request Delivery
  3. Select a delivery method:
    • Internal Courier β€” use your own staff
    • External Courier β€” assign to a registered courier
    • Customer Pickup β€” customer collects from store
  4. Set the delivery fee
  5. Add delivery instructions
  6. Submit the request

Tracking Deliveries

View all active deliveries under Orders > Delivery Requests. Each delivery shows:

  • Order reference
  • Customer address
  • Assigned courier
  • Current status
  • Estimated delivery time
  • Real-time location (if tracking enabled)

Delivery Statuses

Status Description
Pending Awaiting courier assignment
Assigned Courier has accepted
Picked Up Items collected from store
In Transit Out for delivery
Delivered Successfully delivered
Failed Delivery could not be completed

Courier Assignment

Assign deliveries to:

  • Store employees β€” for internal delivery
  • Registered couriers β€” external delivery partners
  • Automatic assignment β€” nearest available courier

Delivery Confirmation

Upon delivery, collect a confirmation (signature or photo) to mark the order as complete.

Return Deliveries

If a customer requests a return, create a return delivery request for the courier to collect the item.
