Categories

Organize your products into categories to make browsing easier for customers and staff.

Creating a Category

1. Go to Products > Categories
2. Click Add Category
3. Enter a name and optional description
4. Select a parent category (for subcategories)
5. Upload a category image
6. Set the display order
7. Click Save

Category Structure

You can create a hierarchy of categories:

Electronics
├── Phones & Tablets
├── Laptops
└── Accessories
    ├── Chargers
    └── Cables

Managing Categories

• Edit — update name, description, or image
• Move — change parent category
• Merge — combine two categories into one
• Delete — remove a category (products become uncategorized)

Category Visibility

Toggle a category's visibility to show or hide it from the POS and customer-facing views.

Bulk Actions

Select multiple categories to:

• Change visibility in bulk
• Assign to a different parent
• Delete in bulk
